Five soldiers of the Indian Army were killed in a tragic accident in which the army truck caught fire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Thursday. The police said that the fire was triggered by a suspected blast.
According to sources the truck was crossing the Rajouri – Poonch Highway. The untoward incident took place on a highway in the Bhata Dhurian area.
There is no word so far on the reasons of the fire from authorities.
Visuals from the site of the accident showed people trying to douse the fire and check upon trapped army personnel if any in the vehicle.
